I've actually spent the most time with the materials and rendering.
I've used a 3 point lightning system from each actually only one of lights casted a shadow . Should have made some compositing.
Haven't thought anyone will notice

Well, I'm pretty much a noob at rendering. It's about materials, relations and angles, mood, lightning setup etc and a lot of trial and error: you make changes then press the render button.... and wait, then you are still not satisfied... and you try some other settings for the materials/lights etc... and then you press the render button again and wait for the results... it's fun no doubt lol (rendering will be interactive in blender soon and that will make things way lot easier).
